About
Aplwc is an APL interpreter, written mostly as a portable C89 library, licensed under GPLv3.
It is not yet done.
The goal is to have a portable base for experimentation, which can be built on a bunch of different platforms. The most important platforms are, of course, Plan 9, OpenBSD and Linux, as that is what the author uses. So far, all development and testing has been on Linux.
The name doesn't mean anything (yet). There were plans in the past which made the wc suffix a good idea, but we will see if they ever get implemented.
The repository is has git mirrors at https://git.sr.ht/~pmikkelsen/aplwc and https://git.pmikkelsen.com/aplwc/ which are updated about once an hour.
Build status
A simple form of automated builds is setup, using https://builds.sr.ht. The builds are automatically triggered when the fossil repository is mirrored to git.sr.ht. This is not ideal, but it works.

Getting Aplwc
Note: as aplwc is not done yet, this isn't recommended.
- Get the sources.
fossil clone https://aplwc.org cd aplwc
- Build it. This requires automake, autoconf and libtool to be installed.
./bootstrap.sh ./configure make
- Run tests.
make check
- Install it.
sudo make install
